Coronavirus Pandemic LIVE Updates: Nearly one billion people around the world were confined to their homes on Sunday, as the coronavirus death toll crossed 13,000 and factories were shut in worst-hit Italy after another single-day fatalities record.
More than 300,000 infections have been confirmed worldwide, with the situation increasingly grim in Italy where the death toll spiked to more than 4,800 -- over a third of the global total.

Coronavirus Pandemic LIVE Updates: Nearly one billion people around the world were confined to their homes on Sunday, as the coronavirus death toll crossed 13,000 and factories were shut in worst-hit Italy after another single-day fatalities record.

Section 144 in Karnataka Tonight | Only essential services will be allowed in nine districts of Karnataka including Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Mangalore, Kalaburagi, Mysore, Chikkaballapur, Kodagu, Dharwad, and Belagavi. Once Janata Curfew ends at 9pm section 144 will be in place from 9pm to 12am.

Section 144 in Maharashtra | Section 144 will be imposed in not Mumbai, but also Nagpur, Pimpri-Chinchwad, in Maharashtra from tomorrow. After 144 sections, trains, buses have been stopped. ST buses and private buses have also been stopped. Other buses shall be used only and only if there is an emergency. Banks, essential services, stock exchanges will be open. Churches, Temples, Masjid to be closed. Grocery and medical stores to be open. Materials and goods of necessity will be supplied and there won't be any shortage: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray.
